PTA & Facebook Guidance

Parent & Teacher Associations play an integral part to our schools and their communities, enhancing engagement, communication and fund raising.

However, PTAs are independent entities in their own right and are not a direct part of the schools they support. As such, they are responsible for liaising with schools with regards to any events or fund raising they wish to carry out, ensuring their committees or volunteers are DBS checked and for marketing events themselves.

The Trust welcomes and supports these groups and provides the following documents as supportive guidance to PTAs.
